Another really fun Pokémon to make! I didn’t realise quite how fiddly the details would be. I’m not sure why I’m having such problems with stitching directly into the surface but it really wouldn’t work out for me. But hey, I did need to practise embroidering!
The purple details are made by starting with 9 ch, turn and inc in each across (starting in 2nd ch from the hook; 16 st in total at the end). Let it spiral and stitch it together in a double ring, then stitch onto the body. It’s not perfect, but was a lot easier for me to do and I’ve very pleased with how he turned out.
The white details are simply embroidered on in the same yarn as the whites of the eyes. All embroidered details are double stitched, first in every stitch, then every other so that they overlap. If that makes sense :s
